Finding a Teeth Whitening Service Provider in Los Angeles

Teeth Whitening in Los AngelesEven if you brush and floss with conscientious regularity, you may experience dental discoloration because of multiple factors beyond your control. As many people in Los Angeles have found out to their delight, teeth whitening is a risk-free solution for this particular problem.

What is the difference between bleaching and teeth whitening?

Even though the terms whitening and bleaching tend to be used interchangeably, the two procedures are different. Products that remove debris from teeth are classified as teeth whitening products. Bleaching products contain either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, which actually ‘bleach’ the teeth beyond the natural color.

Will teeth whitening work for me?

Many people in Los Angeles seek teeth whitening treatments to obtain a sparkling smile. And most of those people are good candidates for this procedure. However, people with dental crowns, veneers, or dental bonding in their front teeth will require restoration replacement during the procedure, as dental restorations do not respond to whitening products the same way that natural teeth do. If you have extreme teeth sensitivity or worn enamel, teeth whitening products should be avoided. Even though most products work on extrinsic stains, there are new products that will work on intrinsic (deeper) stains.

How do I go about finding a good teeth whitening provider?

A number of dentists in Los Angeles provide this treatment. Nevertheless, you will be safe in the hands of someone who conducts this procedure regularly.  Teeth whitening treatment is a one off procedure, but you will need to feel comfortable with your dentist. Conduct research into the past successes of the dentist that you hope to contact for your own treatment and ask your friends for recommendations.

  1. My question is for the colleagues who perform Zoom whitening treatment. Has anybody heard about the possibility to save on Zoom whitening by buying a special chip from bleach-infiniter.com which is simply inserted into a standard light guide for Zoom machine and makes it unlimited? I've heard that many doctors started using different whitening kits with Zoom whitening and it reduced the cost per procedure. What do you think about this?
